Just want to say that the 2DVD set is awesome. Wish I would have had it before I started. Everything is going ok so far on my first grow, but this would have answered many questions. I ordered the DVD's on Monday and they came in the mail this morning. Two day turn around. If I hadn't seen your videos on Youtube first, I wouldn't have known to order these. Thanks for all your help, advice, and mainly your patience!!! You do a great job around here and want you to know that you are greatly appreciated! Keep up the good work...

I can't wait to try some of the more advanced methods in the dvd's

Shipping twice a day?  You must be kicking out orders like mad!  I hope you have recouped your cost by now.  Let's see... $5000/$40= 125 orders.  That's just for getting the disks made and such.  Probably need double that to cover the cost of the studio lights, camera, UPS machine thingy, and film.  This says nothing of the vast amount of time you put into making and shipping the DVDs.

Sadly though this must cut into fishing time. :frown:  Oh well.  More fish for me :wink:

Glad to hear that's going well for you.  I know I really enjoyed your first set!  Particularly the trick to getting the rye dry.  It took some searching but I found your exact strainer and bought three.

Well if you have recovered your costs by now I hope you get greedy and make another set.  :P  Your audience has spoken!  We want more!  Put me on the pre-order list please.  :wink:

I just got your DVD- less than 48 hrs since I placed an order. Great job.

I am about to watch it. I am sure I will not be disappointed, since the videos on you tube were great and I am about to pluck my first flush on BRF cakes tomorrow- thank you

But I wanted to tell you that maybe you should save the money you pay USPS for tracking since the website still tells me

Same here. Ordered it at like 6PM on Thursday, and got it today. Less than 48 hours as well. The discs/cover looks great too. Good job. How long have you been cultivating mushrooms for and what would your best technique be to produce shittake mushrooms?

Well, champ it's 40 with the code, and worth every dollar.

RR would you still describe your video sales as "disappointing"? I think that the last I heard (some month or so after introduction) you were still unhappy with the number of Shroomery folk who threw down.

My sales have been running fine, but still about 3/4 of my sales are to non-shroomery people. It's understandable, since I'm spending a few thousand dollars a month advertising in magazines, google, yahoo and msn. I just got an order for 5,000 disk sets to be distributed to libraries world wide, so things are looking up. In addition, I'm busy working a full time job in my 'normal' profession and working on a follow-up video on recycling with mushrooms.

i am guessing RR is not in the mush field as a normal profession but in some plant genetics field and a professor at some university.

thats my guess. or he works for some corp like cargill trying to grow super strains of wheat.

I think you could probably add quite a few people to the list of shroomery buyers simply because they didn't know about the shroomery discount or forgot about it upon ordering. I for example, haven't been able to spend a whole lot of time on the shroomery for the past few months, but I saw a banner for your long awaited dvds and ordered straight through the shroomery banner. I didn't put in the discount code because I didn't know there was one. Still I would've paid twice as much for the dvd's anyway so I'm not all that upset abot the extra $10 I paid. Awesome DVD's RR :thumbup:

i watched part of the you tube and im not ordering, A im a cheap Fu$%^ sometimes like that and B. i would rather read and print instructions.

However Roadkill and RR are all over this board and have offered interesting opinions i like to read. There is a great community here for some applications and i would like to say thank you and sorry im a cheap fu(*&; if i win the lottery ill send you both 10000.00$. i hope the DEA never finds a way to destroy what you've built here.

I'm sorry, what exactly was the point of that post? I don't care whether you're a cheap fuck, I already own the DVD and it's worth it. The DEA probably won't have a lot of *reasons* to bust Roadkill and RR for making a movie about growing edible mushrooms
