drying perlite

if you are going to reuse perlite how long and at what temp should it be put in the oven for. while on the subject same question about drying your dessicant after using?

I usually just throw my perlite away....stuff is pretty cheap and messy as hell. I bake my dririte at 400 degrees for awhile...not exactly sure if thats the correct temp or not but it turns it blue again

Never used damp-rid before just toss it in the oven and see what happens. It cant hurt if its already been used

Damp-Rid is a dessicant salt that *cannot* be reused unless you evaporate off the water that's left in your chamber... personally, not worth the effort when a new box of it is like $3
