i just cased for the first time today and I don't feel good about the attempt. I am so nervous about it... glad for you sucess :smile:

I feel you pain;-(

I've stuck with cakes(1/2 pint to 1 quart jars) simply becuase everytime I would case..I wouldn't get as great of a yeild as Expected. Basically I got as many, maybe slightly more mushrooms, by casing as I did with cakes.

When it gets warmer out, I'm going to try yet again with a cool mist.

The only thing that scares me is the high level of humidity that those things put out! YIKES! But, if I have any problems I think I can come to The Shroomery and ask around:-)
