yeah, that was a pretty dumb move on your part by eating un ID'd shrooms. Don't be stupid, having the attitude of " but hey I'm still alive " isn't too good if you ask me, not cool. With that outlook on life you Will End up DEAD or in a hospital.... Sorry- but I'm just lookin out for you and besides what I just told you isn't even the half of what some of the other guys are gonna tell you on here, when they read posts from people like you they crucify them with all they've got - I've read quite a few. not too pretty..
Anyways- you said you ate them.... so you must know if they're active or not... correct? So if they are you have some cope cyans- if not- you've got what I find in my fields everyday- Panaeolus Antillarum...
Looks like some of the stems and caps in the 1st pic have tints of blue. could be wrong..

Check out my post " magic field part 2 & 3 " 1 got deleted, but that is what the cubes look like down here in LA. And like what everyone else said, dont eat mushrooms without postive id. Not a good idea at all.
What part of la you live at. Im down here in lafayette and have been finding all kinds these past weeks b/c of all the rain. Last week didnt really rain but I think its going to this week so I might go for another hunt but i still have some left over from the last hunts. I just love to go hunting Funny, I have been seeing a lot more people from LA popping up around here. Good to see that.

hey, Nah man- Antillarums aren't poisonous..... just a harmless look-alike which macroscopically resembles that of the active cope cyans' which you have. Many people ingest them thinking they've got what you've got but end up disappointed when they don't feel jackshit after the 1st hour.

Hey foolhearted individual! DO NOT EAT SHROOMs YOU HAVE NOT IDENTIFIED YOURSELF!!!!!! In fact in your case I would say do not eat shrooms at all...especially if you must wait til mom goes to bed...You fucking kids blow me away! Maybe mommy can wake up in the middle of the night and drive your dumb ass to the hospital. Didn't you ever hear of mushrooms being poisoness? MANY species are! Perhaps this stranger to you has mis-IDed those and you fucking DIE...then what...natural selection at its finest i suppose.
One more thing: Speak english...it is your native tongue I assume. 'Aight' is NOT a word...except perhaps in ebonics. No wonder LA places 49th or 50th in education every year. Get a grip on yourself man! Educate yourself if you want to eat mushrooms...It is for your own good....DO NOT take someone else's word for it.

Well, since you put it that way and have proven to be more reasonable than I once thought. They do resemble copes (Copelandia Cyanescens) but I don't think copes grow in your neck of the woods and those don't appear to bruise blue. Although, you say that they have some blue bruises now...perhaps interesting. Where you have handled the stems have they turned dark blue?
Psilocybe Cubensis are plentiful in southern LA and can be easily identified. If you would like a beautiful example of what cubensis looks like go to the 'mushroom pictures' forum and look at a thread about Acadian Coast . Since you live near the Acadian Coast in Deridder those cubebsis will resemble cubensis in your area. In Fact, They are a spittin' image of some shrooms I found near Breaux Bridge last year. Acadia as you know is the area around and south of Lafayette. You are not too far from there. I would stick with trying to locate some cubensis and going to your grandparents place where you have a feild you are free to roam in is just the place. If it has been raining there, scour the field with a fine tooth comb. The hot sun is a killer for cubensis (as well as other varieties) but if it has been somewhat overcast and humid for the last couple of days since the rain you may find yourself in the Disco for sure. Keep in mind that cubensis can look different depending on their stage of growth but are psychoactive at any poin along the way...sooooo, have a look at the thread I mentioned and make a good mental note of the way they look when developing. There are more than one pic of them. 24-48 hours after a rain is frequently optimum if the skys have been overcast and the humidity had remained high, which it usually does in So La this time of the year. The only prob is that the weather is getting hot as hell these days down here in the south. So, pray for rain..do your best rain dance and get out early when the morning fog is still laying in the fields. If you find cubensis 'pins' (underdeveloped mushies) you can take note of their location and wait for them to mature some or they can be picked on the spot. A pair of scissors is good for snipping of the shit end of the mushie so the rest can be eaten.....Good luck to you after all....and keep the Shroomery posted....AND ABOVE ALL ELSE: don't eat any more unidentified mushrooms...that is how people DIE!!!
Peace, TR
