most small hardware stores have them they might be put away for the year untill canning season but if you ask they will get them for you

The amazing thing is, ever since I've got my canning jars, every grocery store and hardware store I can't help but see they have 1/2 pt canning jars in stock. And I spent a long time looking for them at first.

Thanks people. I checked that link out a while ago schlomo, did you post it up the first time. That was a great find! I live in a really big city so little hardware stores are out of the question, but Im sure it wont be long before I find some. Thanks again.

I dont know where you live but if you have a Fred Meyer around they have em.....the funny thing is the half pint kerr jars are more that the 1 qt. kerr jars go figure?
