Hi there, I bought a spore syringe p. cubensis Koh Samiu (thai) for redeyefrog.co.uk

Aswell as spore syringes and prints they also sell the usuall legal highs etc.

Has anyone used these people before. I also got a grow kit from them for edible mushrooms (the site actually stated which magic mushroom spores where not suitable for the grow bag i had selected)

The grow bag is the rye grain type, its a myco grow bag i think??

Anyway, its been inoculated 4 days ago and been sitting in the airing cupboard next that houses the boiler.

AFter much research from your site, i became concerned that after looking at my spore syringe i could not really see any spores. The syringe is clear. Do u think that there are actually spores in there?? Maybe theres just not as many as there usually would be in a really good one.

If my cupboard temp is right ( waiting on me thermometer coming) then in 7-10 days i should start to see some nice white stuff. If not anyone know where to get good spore syringes either in the UK or somewhere that can guarentee it gets to my door??

Also whats this strain like??????? anyone had experience with the thia one?

ok i got another spore syringe but this time from http://www.salvia-divinorum-supplies.co.uk/

my order came 2 days after i ordered (very quick they said 7-10 days)

after inspecting the syringe i still found it hard to see the syringe. I then inpsected it by lookin at it from daylight after shaking and there is definatly spores in there.

I then rechecked my other syringe, and i think i can see some, gave it a shake yup i think there are spores in there. On one of the syringes i can see 4 black dots (r these spores that r stuck to the side?>)

so i think that both syringes are valid,, though the second seems to have more spores.

Ill just have to wait and see if my grow bag develops.

So for now i have prepared 1 jar with the new syringe so i can atleast see if it works.

I would have prepared to, 1 for the new syringe and 1 for the old for a comparison, but i could not grind up anymore brown rice, i was using a peper grinding, which took ages and hurt, have blisteers. so will get a coffee grinder.

In a few days i should see some myc growth.

ive found that commercial vendors like this dilute the spores as much as possible, but they should still work even if the concentration is so low that you cant see any spores.

same shit happen to me, i got a GOLDEN TEACHER from fsre but eh, only a tiny bit came out not visible at all.
but i have faith they will work :thumbup:

Im hoping so, iw ould like to order from shroomery sponsoers, but im in the uk and as far as i can tell, they dont ship outside the US< will have a look again.

Though i do remember going to order one of an american company and it was gonna cost me $55 to have it shipped.

As long as it works, i can continue the cycle via collecting spores, or even thru liquid cultures.

The grow bag is starting to worry me, still no signs and its been a week and a half, have shaked the bag, still cant see anything.

Temp is between 79-82 F Thats as hot as my cupboard gets (and thats the one with the water heater)

Damn scottish weather its usually like 10 c outside.

I do have another syringe which i can defo see spores, which has been used with a pf tek (2 days ago)

so your bag still aint moving mine either but im fussing over it too much it going to take much longer than the company i got mine from stated now ive done my home work i can see how long a jar takes that is around 4 even 5 times bigger which from what i can tell is going to take somewhere around that many times longer im thinking 6 weeks maybe longer before it can be moved for fruiting but hey thats only my theorys on what im reading this is my 1st grow after all  :1up:

ok, so i think my spore syringe from this company is rubbish, i have used the last of it (about 4cc) in a vain attempt to to get some growth, maybe there are some spores at the very end.

Growbag still shows no signs of growth and niether do the other 2 jars (one had started growing green mold)

so i think that this company should be avoided, there was no point in asking for refund as how could i prove there are no spores - oh yes they didnt not grow. hmmmm anyway at least u people will no to avoid em.

My spores from salvia-divinorium-supply are good as i have 3 jars growing, 1 is particularly strong even thougyh my jar is a tad wet.

I think next time i order a spore syringe i will get it from one of the sponsers, spores101 i think ship to UK.

If my last attempt at the koh samia does grow, amaxing will take a spore print and a clone.

just simply say that there werent any visible spores underneath a microscope.
thats why we have these syringes with spores in them, remember?

you just made 100+ microscope slides and not a single one had any spores of any kind in it, not even any mold...dont you remember doing all this just the other day now? =)

oh, and you could even compliment them on making sterile syringes, even if they are devoid of their intended spores.
