As far as I know, there ain't any spore sellers over here. www.psilocybe.co.uk has been "coming soon" for months, not that that's any help.
Personally I don't think importing them is a problem ,it's not like they're illegal or anything. I'd usually recommend Smartbotanics but they don't seem to be sending stuff out at the moment for some reason :|

Hi dUbwise.
My Friends girlfriends mother, ordered her spores from Smart Botanics. They turned up in under 8 days. This was about 2 months ago, I was a bit concerned by Sorted's post. Cos she tells me she'll be ready to try again soon.
Also check out the UK SHROOM GROWERS DIARY, here at the shroomery, find it in the Grow/Find section under miscellaneous documents. Well worth a read.
It's nice to know there is another UK shroomer here at the shroomery. I get to feel a little isolated sometimes.

Well, SB were definately up & runnin' at the end of June cos that's when my order was shipped, but since then I've heard a few ppl say that orders aren't arriving & emails go unanswered. *shrug*

I'd try Smart Botanics. They have honoured every order I've made with them.

The current rumour fest was due to them going on holiday, and their website not being updated with the news.

You seem keen on 'Smart Botanics' and their site looks pretty good, so I think I will give them a go. I know you may think its silly, but i will try the starter kit first.

When (if!) things work, i'll prolly try 'Shroomdepot' for some spores.

Basically, I cant wait for this to work, because it has been years since I last tried shrooms, and I was too pissed to appreciate anything (hopefully I'm now older and 'wiser') and also wasted loads by trying to smoke them :-(
