I know and I'm up here in Alaska and I missed it! Damnit! You don't know how many times I saw Heli's following a chase on the highway and hoped for this exact scenario!

Hm? Nope they are playing one full game in baltimore but first they are actually playing 1 and a half innings of a game that was suspended due to rain like a month ago. Weird new rule...instead of ending the game they have to finish it. The Yankees were up 8-6 in the top of the 8th. So hopefully that's another W.

oh shit, i thought that game was rained out today, and i saw that they had another full game scheduled.. espn does a shitty job of displaying it so people understand.. it looked like a double header the way they had it.

I work in a call center, but im a call center manager.. so money isnt too bad.. and 99% of my work is done on computers and online. so i can work from home quite a bit, like right now. for another 30 mins.

you got anything planned for the weekend?

Anchorage area. I go to school in Phoenix during the winter though, and actually right now I'm on some remote island in Prince William Sound at a Salmon hatchery for the next month. (Thank god for Wifi)

I live in a loft in downtown Phoenix and always thought this was bound to eventually happened. Everytime there is a car chase, shooting, robbery, etc. these news helicopters circle the downtown area like vultures. It's truly tragic, this is only 2 miles from my house.

I wonder how long until one of the weather guys could get away with, "Look out there guys, with the monsoon season upon us it's raining cats and helicopters".

And yeah, they crashed just a couple blocks from where my wife works. Freaky. Thank god they somehow managed to crash over an unpopulated section in the middle of the city. I smell a lawsuit. I know I'd be suing the stations for hiring (apparently) incompetent pilots with overly aggressive news chasing guidelines.

What a fucking bummer.

Not bad, I didn't make it to the Kenai this summer (well to camp, not fish) but as usual 95% of the people I know did, although few came back with kings.  Were you trolling or snagging from the banks?

I'm looking at a pond right now with 9,000 Sockeye Salmon in it :grin:

Thank god it's not my job to sex them and squeeze the eggs and juices out.
