It might survive but you cannot really grow it indoors, it demands too much sun and room.

At freezing, caapi loses leaves but a good sized plant will survive. At 10 degrees f even a big plant will die. Take it indoors. They do fine by a window. Like Felix says, they won't grow much indoors but they will live.

ok sweet so during the summer I can put it in the ground outside, and during the winter I can bring dig it up, pot it and bring it inside?

Would it do ok under a light?
