lol um i never heard that about boiling it and the water turning a color the water changes color for me depending on who i make it for i have green ayahusca rainbow brown redish many other colours too. I dunno about you but my yellow vine is yellowish, white whitish,black blackish and red redish thats what they look visually to the naked eye.

they all are brownish but the shade of brown my white vine is way lighter and kinda whitish, the yellow vine is way lighter and yellowish, the black is really dark and blackish, the red is darker and reddish. thats like saying all wood is brown and a red wood tree is then same as another pine tree there both brown... i find these color variations to be consistent with different vendors as well. thats also like saying these to amanita are the same color maybe if your colour blind they are both yellow right no difference they maybe the same species but with out a doubt different strains theres genetic variations due to the location. which 2 do you think came from the same state and maybe even location. You dont think a vine in somewhere as vast as south america has variations and tho those amanita have same actives they have differnt feels without a dobut
now if you still stand by what you say then im gona change my thought and just say those amainta are all yellow and theres no differance what so ever and the same applies to plants,animals like bears a bears a bear right no brown bear or black bear same shit right and i guess the same is for people if a person is white reguardless of if there tan or pale they are white and same with blacks if there Black as night and brown as wood no differance they are just black right?!? because of course then in a vine their cant be shades to right?!? Maybe i should also find a chemical that will make me colour blind so it really is all the same to me. are you colour blind cause i have a friend who is in that case i say sorry if not then ...

We're not talking about the difference between a redwood and a pine or a brown and black bear. It's the same damn plant, just different strains. Same genus, same species.

Of course, they're going to look a little different, THEY'RE PLANTS. But the actual color of the vine has nothing to do with the "color" of the ayahuasca vine.

they all look brownish/ red to me holmes. If anything, black is the lightest. Again, I believe you have no idea what you're talking about and just repeating what you read somewhere else.

yeah thats odd when i get more of my vine ill show you what i mean the only vine you got that slighly color resambals mine is the white.
i dunno man. i know my brew color that the water turns isnt dictated by the color of vine at all and i have used black,white,yellow and red i get it shipped from peru. so  :shrug: ill be glad to take a pic when i get more. my red kinda looks like your yellow and my yellow kinda looks like your black but its that light colour on the out side of the vine as well. those personal pics or ones from online? this kinda shows what i mean. they arent my supplier tho

i cant find a pic of what my yellow looks like do you get yours from ecuador? i know peruvians and ecuadorians dont like each other and by dont like i mean really dont like. im sure shamans from differnt areas have differnt concepts of the color of vine cause im 99.9% sure that every shaman in south america has the same agreement on caapi colour.

pics from where I've been ordering recently, and I've tried them all. If you get what you pay/ ask for, then the brew should turn the "colour" of the vine. I'm not talking about in addition to viridis or cabrerana, just the aya vine alone. This is not new information, it has been common knowledge to shamans and ayahuasqueros for hundreds of years.

k Well the important thing isnt what color the brew is its about the effect. I heard that the color is more so determined by the effect any way, im defiantly gona ask my supplier hes pretty knowledgeable. so why do you dabble in ayahuasca? what do you use it for?

I use it to keep myself in check.

I started studying shamanism while in art school, I made a minor out of the study of world religions. My senior thesis happened to be on the importance of psychoactive plants in different religious contexts, specifically ayahuasca and mescaline containing cacti. My first time doing aya was when I was in Peru, ironically studying art history for school credit and I was fortunate enough, to meet a very old, wise and disturbingly friendly Peruvian Shaman. It was the day I finished my history course and 2 days before our group was to hike Machu Pichu. It was the most mind blowing, religious experience of my life. It was a total psychological reset. Everything I did was like doing it for the first time; and this feeling lasted months. Every smell, taste, feeling etc all felt like it was new and exciting but at the same time, they would bring back very vivid memories. I remember when I got back from Peru and smelling honey suckles for the first time since the previous spring, and that smell brought back so many childhood memories, it almost made me cry.

Now I use it uuuhhhhh, maybe 2-5 times a year. I do it when I can feel myself getting too consumed with work related crap, becoming overly cynical (as I am now) and just not enjoying life as much as I should be. It's been several months since my last outing so I'm trying to get away this weekend. I've got monday off since Veterans day falls on Saturday. Woo Hoo 3 day weekend!!! I have some aya and cabrerana already brewed up in wine bottles, I'm just praying for clear skies.

that sounds so much like the ayahuasca trip i gave my friend for her first, she went completely pale and was shivering flew thru geometric art and saw Shiva then had her whole life happen before her and it helped her coup with her parents and i relationship i cant really go to much into it im not allowed and trust me dont reveal anything your not suppose to but thats more depending on who you tell then actually telling it. It seems when ever i give stuff to people they see Shiva or something Shiva related. but back her about what i can say the most of her trip was re-birthing and everything was a new for her, She really just had a whole new appreciation for life and saw what she took for grant-et. oh and she did cry she didnt take my advice in not wearing black and things were dark indeed.but overall it was very beneficial and pulled her out of the path she was starting to follow. I can no longer use it for myself at all. only on others i have drinken 50oz of Ayahuasca with cactus and had a second person experiance it to the full effect that i did tho on the other people it was much milder plus they didnt want it. Im still learning i know i have alot to go but that doesnt make me any less of a healer it just means that im still learning Hey some old dude in the jungle got help for other wise poeple i have to get all mine help form the source and myself. Its not easy man and its not really fun theres nothing like healing an exheroin addict then bleeding out the nose and feeling like you ODing on heroin not the best thing, but its my job and i have to do it.
