Get a heating pad! Put it under your jars!

Sean123 & Aq..., That really does work? Thats good because that's what I bought, and wasn't sure if it would work. Does a lot of water evaporate. Do you use store bought water to keep out contams. Er what?

Can I do that in My ter.. as well?
Thanks.

yes it really works, in fact tahts what I use. the water doesn't evaporate very fast ify ou have a lid on it, but you should refill everyonce in a while or the heater will shatter. tap water works fine.

Search for a post on the same subject. You might try searching for 'submersible heater'... someone posted a design with pictures a month or so ago.

I really prefer putting my jars on top of the lid and covering that with a blanket that is wrapped in heat-sealed plastic. The plastic is just trashbags slit open to lay flat, then seamed together with a lighter or eurosealer. This will keep that dirty blanket from dropping contam spores all over your jars, and from picking up more contaminants. You can also spray it with lysol or rubbing alcohol or h202 as you see fit.

I put my jars in a steak cooler from a christmas present, with a heat pad underneath that and towels and blanket covering it. It stayed really consistant. My mom let me grow shrooms I just told her its a science experiment. She bought me everything I needed.
