Which catcher would you pick up...

Well I've had A.J. Pierzynski stinking up my average and giving me barely any power for the whole first half...normally I'd give him a shot at a hot second half but he's historically a worse hitter AFTER the All-Star Break. So, fuck him. Play resumes tomorrow and I need a new catcher. The Free Agent pool is sad sad sad. Here are my available options:

John Buck of KC
Miguel Olivo of FLA
Yorvit Torrealbe of COL
Or, should I pick up Mike Piazza, DL him, and just wait out the 10-12 days until he comes back with one less batter every day in my head to head league. I'm hesitant to pick him up, DL him, and then pick up ANOTHER catcher only because we have a 60 max. moves limit in that league and I'm already at 23 and want to save moves for late season pushes.

Buck hasn't been doing to bad for me lately.  His power is way up, but his avg. is shit.  :shrug:

You have 37 moves left. Each week counts the same as any other week. Don't delay. I'd do Piazza. I think. If he's the regular DH he will still have more ABs than a regular catcher even if he misses another week or two. Those other guys are air.

Honestly, while AJ sucks pretty bad this year, your other options really aren't much better.

I had him, had Piazza on the DL, but ended up trading for Posada and dropped Mikie. I'm not sure I would have started him anyway.

I would either stick with AJ or go with Buck
