Never reallly grown anything but bettaboys and beefsteak. But since I am going to be full to my ears with tommatoes and peppers I tried to get alot that a pleasing to look at.

And no I have seen the stripes yet but we will see what is to come eh?

I think my Ill beable to pick off my first tomatoe in a like 2 weeks and same with the pepper.

I want to post up side by side shots of My biobizz pre mix soil to my fathers mirical grow 2 pepper plant each getting the same light, water, and nutes. Mine are atleast 2x as tall and has like 8 tops on the one I LST (suprisingly they responded well to it) and 4 on the on I didnt LST compared to 2 on his.

Bah I get excited and ramble. Keep it green

I can't wait till i get some ripe tomatoes either.  They're real close, atleast the cherry tomatoes, and the big ones are getting bigger and bigger every day.  I got another ripe habanero the other day, and a few that I can tell are about to start turning orange. 

*That area that I tilled and mulched, but was a little too shady, is now sunny after some tree trimming. I planted my Calea plant down there.  I'll get some pics soon, I dug a hole, and since it's clay soil mostly, and Calea likes well-drained stuff, I filled the hole with cactus soil, then put some fertilizer pellets in and put the calea and its peat pot in and filled it in then put mulch around the base and watered it.  Hopefully it does well, can't wait to have a Calea bush!

*i get new pics when they are necessary :wink:

**oh, I also got nice humidity domes for my germination/cutting/seedling trays.  My mom have like 20 coleus that she's rooting, and keeps putting new ones in when spots open up, so im going to have a little island of coleus :cool:

update:

everything is a little bit bigger :tongue2:



color key: 
red - roma tomato
purple - morning glory (heavenly blue)
orange - big tomatoes (not sure what the specific name is)
blue - cherry tomatoes (mmm...)
white - banana peppers (cant really see, but big yellow peppers on it)
black - habanero bush
grey - Naga Jolokia pepper (just planted, hottest chile on earth)
yellow - tulip tree (got in the picture :tongue2:)

*forgot to label my purple bell pepper plant in the middle top (of the picture) and you really have to see the tomatoe plants in person to understand how giant they are getting; they keep bending over and one has kinda grown onto the fence like a vine.



morning glory is doing well, besides a few burnt leaves on the bottom when i watered them during peak sun




my Calea Z. plants, is it too stretched out, or does it look fine?  it's kinda seperating into two main stems, so i guess I'll have a bush.




top row is all Nicotania tobaccum, then a rooted calea cutting at the end.  Second row is all leonorus Sibericus (motherwort, marahuanilla) then a little Mugwort plant at the end with a stick to support it.  Then at the very bottum is my little stevia plant.  The cups have cuttings im trying to root in them.





my rooting tray with diff plants in it.  the very left is the tobacco again, and the silene capensis to the right of it, and some mugwort and naga jolokia's thrown in, along with a calea cutting that's rooting, a lemon balm cutting, and some coleus.  Then there's the big tomatoe stem that i pulled off and im rooting, and the sun opener cuttings.  I threw out the ephedra seedlings today because they were dead.

In a couple of days my first few Mr. Stripey tommatoes should be rip. I don't see any stripes so far.3 of my pepper plants were eaten to nubs due to deer(I think, something tall enough to bite off the top of a 2 1/2 foot plant)

I have 45++ flowers on itmy 3 watermellon plants, well each whole has to plants in it. Cant wait till I put some shine in one of these.


Have a good rest of the season, rain has been shitty for the past 2+ months and my water bill was enourmus thinking of buying a pool pump to pump water from a creek into a resovior.

ive been eating the cherry tomatoes for awhile now, and they are damn tasty. My first big tomatoes are getting oranger, so theyll be ready within the week probably.

*id like to see a picture of your plot if possible, sounds like you have a farm going that youd have to water that much?

No farm, with the addition of flowers and a decent sized lawn that Im trying to keep green it gets pricey with the heat of the summer and a light drizzle MAYBEY once every two weeks.

I have only gotten like 4 ripe cherry tomatoes. There are a couple more out there but Ima wait a couple days for a few more to turn. I have been eating some unknown variety of non spicey peppers for awhile.

Ill try get some pics up within the week.

Can't wait till my first tomatoe pie.

if you're looking for a spicy pepper, id be happy to send you one of my two extra Naga Jolokia plants!  about 10x hotter than a habanero if you can handle it :wink:

*my cherry tomato is the biggest of all the tomatoes, and it's starting to get like little clusters of 10 tomatoes growing all over, so it should be a rewarding season!

If you can get some seeds from em I would love to grow em out next year. I also have 2 other varieties coming to me one know only as "Elvis" and the other was some weird name that supposedly ranked 1,500,000+ the scovil scale. Bring on the fire!

Yeah my cherry tomatoes have tones of yellow flowering sites everywhere

the only thing I'm really having trouble with is the silene capensis, they've been germinating for a longgg time now and nothing is happening, I've tried them in different mediums, temps, and rHls but still nothing... maybe I got bunk seeds..
how did you do yours?

One of my leonurus Sibiricus plants is just starting to get some flowers, and i always have a few new additions and changes that i'll have to update with more pictures later

I'll get some pictures of my little silene plants for you guys tomorrow hopefully.  They are kind of like a little bush right now, not really growing taller from a main stem, just bigger leaves.

*apparently this is what a mature plant looks like, so it's kinda like a small version of that right now with no flowers. 



These are one of the plants I'll for sure be bringing inside for the winter and setting them up with grow lights so I can keep it growing all year and get some giant roots hopefully.
