Pics of my "garden"
    #1550076 - 05/15/03 03:30 AM (13 years, 6 months ago)

Hm... it's about time to do some major repotting work, but I decided I'd show you guys some of my newer plants.

There are 4 different varieties of tobacco growing:
2 vars. of N. tobaccum
1 N. rustica
1 N. glauca(Tree tobacco)
Unfortunately I've mixed up all the varieties during replanting(doh!).

The poppy seeds are of culinary quality. No clue on what brand or strain.

I've got some pepper plants and some datura growing in the planter behind the tobacco.

Heres the pics:

Tobacco in the front. Peppers, datura(seedlings), and poppies in the back. It's about time to start thining out the poppies and keep the best plants.

More tobacco, peppers and datura behind them.

Tobacco and poppies. It got up to 88 that day, the tobacco didn't get watered well enough so the leaves were a little bit wilted.

More peppers and a few stray poppies that I moved when they were seedlings... I'm supprised they made it, but they did

I forgot to get pics of my Leonurus sibiricus and San Pedro. I'll be sure to get pics of them later on.

Hope you enjoyed the pics
If you have any tips or pointers, let me know, I'm always open to help/advise.

I was just looking at those pics and I rememberd that i had a few questions to ask.

1. Why are my pepper plants leaves starting to curl/shrivel?
They look healthy, but they're doing a funky wrinkly thing at the tips of the new growth.

2. Why are the tobacco leaves yellow? Under fertilization? I haven't fertilized them yet.

I think thats it...

Edit: Nope, its not, just thought of another question

How does growing poppies stand from a legal point of view?
I seem to remember reading that it's ok to grow them, but once you have score marks on them or something along those lines, you can be arrested. To be honest, I'm not growing them to get "fucked up" I'm growing them just because they look so damn cool.

1.Not sure what you mean as they all look healthy to me :-)

2.Lack of nitrogen(needs a weak feed, not to strong as there too young)

3. Here is it totaly legal, but once scratched becomes a production charge :-(

Hope that helped a little, could you point out the cause of question one, so i can see it clearer it?
