Here's was my girl  :frown:

She got bugs bad and I had to put her down, I have tones of other house plants and I didn't want them spreading.
It was an outdoor plant to begin with.
I'll get another one soon and take proper care of her.

That's sad. :frown:

I have two salvia plants coming within the month. I'm rather excited!

The very nature of experience is ineffable; it transcends cognitive thought and intellectualized analysis. To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.

**scratches***
bugs? what bugs?

simple recipe:
1 cup H20
1 tablespoon chopped jalepeno or red pepperflakes (yeh the kind ya put on za)
2-4 cloves garlic chopped
throw it on a pan, heat to ~100F
let cool
put in a spray bottle (leave out chunks-o-garlic/pepper)
Zaps bugs dead,
kills white fly, spider mites, etc.....

found this recipe on an organic site somewhere, sometime...or was it all a dream?

I, too, have heard that the above recipe works well.  Or substitute habaneros for the jalapenos!  I'm sure neuro will agree.

I'm sorry that i really dont know anything about growing salvia in particular, however I am interested in trying. Would you say it is difficult to keep up, or not. Comparable to cannabis?

I think Salvia is easier to grow than Cannabis.

HIghInOhio, I would rate Salvia as one of the easiest plants to grow! Just don't let it get caught by frost and you'll be fine.
Here's what you can expect in about five months, growing in a sheltered place outdoors (light, but no direct sunlight, generally about 20-25*C, normal English atmospheric humidity), starting from a cutting that's slightly less than a foot tall.

Five feet tall, and by this stage it had already produced three healthy cuttings!

Edit: I have noticed, though, that my plant does not look as bushy as some other's. It has lots of stalk, but not so much leaf. I'm not sure why this is...
