no prints?

I left some mature shroom caps over foil in an airtight tupperware container thursday night. 24 hours later i checked one of the foil squares. There was nothing there. Not even a light spore print.
I had to leave for the weekend but since i had nothing to loose i left them there.
Needless to say that when i returned today all caps stinked like hell except one i left in a diferent container. But still no prints. And i had to send some to the FSRE (hope 2nd flush isn't sterile)

Why did all my shroomies came out sterile?
I'm trying the cambodians for the first time but i think it can't be from the strain b/c i've grown them from a spore print (which BTW was really light).
Can it be my lighting (which is a little bit on the violet spectrum)? I think it's strange because i've used this light to grow other strains and never had this problem.

Any help apreciated!

Probably, because they were in an airtight container, it was too humid for them to drop their spores. I have seen this before.

How mature were they? They may have already dropped their spores.

just put a cup ontop of the whole caps and tin foil. it works good for me.
