Not anymore, i did try and realized it was pointless, so hence we are no longer together or even talking which sux, but there isnt much i can do. The only thing i could do is call her and swear never to touch drugs but im too curious to do that.

its funny how i see very day how people get involved in the exact same situations i was in my relationship. growing together is a process that takes a lot of YOU. i found myself in a similar. may be even the same situation. and im telling you this in the girl point of view. to me she seems really insecure. a lot of times i will be that way back when i used to be silly. she might think you will fall into a point where youll like all that stuff more than you like her. that youll spend your time experimenting and put more interest into somehting else than her. its all about insecurity. sometimes things have to break apart to let the light shine through. good luck on this life journey.

Well as an update, we got back together but i have promised to never touch psychedelics or any drugs of that matter besides salvia and alcohol. Hopefully someday ill get her to share my views on hallucinogens. Until then tho ill be happy with what i have.

I know i caved but i honestly would rather be with her then experiment and i realize this now. Thanks for all ur guy's advice.

i briefly started dating a guy when i was an IV drug addict.
i dumped him before it got too serious, because i could tell he was really getting into me, and well my body and addiction was getting in such fucked up shape i honestly didnt know if i was going to die or not last year.
i hid most of my usage from him, but he was such a sweet and nice guy, the type "that would do anything" for the one he loves, i could never break his heart.
he didn't understand when i said it was for his good that i was breaking up with him, but i stressed that i had some issues that i needed to figure out.

with that said, if drugs revolve around your life, or are an important factor in what makes YOU you, it will never work with somebody who is anti-drugs.

personally id take drugs over sex or a relationship but thats just me. :mushroom2:

yea i thought my curiosity would out play my love and it just didnt. I mean shrooms and LSD sound amazing, but i dont think they can compensate for the feeling i get when im with her.

sounds like she's just worried about you, like someone else said, its not her fault she has strong opinions not based on fact, poeple have been telling her bad shit about mushrooms her whole life probably.

if you guys are still together i'd say keep talking with her about it occassionally. also, there is no rush to do them, taking them a year from now isn't going to be much differnt than taking them a day from now.

tripping with the people you love is the best kind of trip. i say tell her you're going to wait a year and from you'd like her to do them with you, and she has plenty of time to read up on it.

find the erowid experiance reports where lovers took mushrooms together, i'm sure there are many glowing ones.

edit: i did the same thing your girlfriend did... i was very anti drug until cough syrup opened my eyes (wtf? if you drink cough syrup you'll leave your body and talk to aliens? that can't be true.)

I went to drug conceling with someone from here in Utah( in my classes I didnt know him until i went to classes..as an example) and he was a 15 year meth addict, and the last years he shot up meth, he had to get into a rehab clinic or he would have died, he was into serios drug rehab for 5 years befor he got into just basic drug diversion classes like I was, court ordered shit, I just had numerous charges incuding selling a stolen compter, lying to a cop and 2 time weed possession and selling alcohol to a minor.

she wouldnt break up w/ me if i asked. In the beginning i told her of my interest and she said i had to choose her or my curiousity.

ya i also dont see right after that, do you realise i tried to claw my eyes out and had to wear a patch like a pirate for a year, they didnt think id be able to see again but now alls i see is scratch marks in my vision which makes for a trippy effect when tripping. I also ran through a glass door and fell down a flight of stairs

Wholey Cr4p ! -> Where you suffering from paranoid delusions (freakish nightmare trip) or did you see the glass door as a wormhole to another dimension ?
