If you touched the actual needle (metal shaft) you will need to flame sterilize the needle til the metal gets red hot, then let cool.Just doing a regular PF-Tek will be your best bet as a newbie. Do everything word-for-word... That is my suggestion for ya. Then perhaps you'll see how easy it is, and that you didn't actually need a kit! peace camel

When it come to setting up, one can NEVER be too careful when it comes to making sure everything is as sterile as possible. Even if you didn't touch the needle directly, it's probably a good idea to flame sterilize it anyway. A friend of mine just finished using a sporechick setup, and was successful on his first time. With that I wish you the best of luck... and happy harvesting!

thanks all of you for your insight! Incidentally, as I was setting up my jars, I checked my equipment and found thst the sporechiks sent me 2 syringes of the equadorian strain(!!!) along with the one syinge of cyanascens that I ordered. Is this a bonus?? Either way, I used the two eq's to inoculate my jars first since cubensis' are more forgiving!!! can't wait...------------------ "...that's my business.
