Embarrasing memories

Why do they make you feel embarrased? They're just memories.

it's actually something that is used with hypnosis and NLP i think. it's the fact that your unconcious can seperate time and space but not emotions when it is retrieving memories.

it can be used in hypnosis that way because then, when the emotion comes back, you can do something with it. for instance, visualize it on a black and white videoscreen and walk away from it. that experience will then be connected with that memorie. so then, everytime you think of that old memorie, your unconcious also retreives the memorie of you walking away from it.

it's a technique used to handle trauma's and stuff

oh.. and i just read this stuff somewhere and added some of my own logic
