trouble growing tampanensis

hello.

please help a beginner!

I've been attempting to grow tampanensis truffles by cloning a truffle i had onto peroxidated agar. this seemed to work well in a few of the plates, i even have a few small sclerotia(?) growing on the agar dishes themselves.
for the next stage i used rye grain, boiled for 30 mins and then pressure cooked for 1 hour in jam jars with a pin hole.
i then added 2-3 ccs of 3 percent peroxide solution and shook the jars.
after cutting a couple of small sections of my new truffles from the agar dishes i dropped them quickly into thes jars, and put a breathable surgical pad over the pinhole.
done
then i wait. after a few days the jars start to colonize with white mycelium, fully colonized after 2 weeks, with even slightly yellowy white mycelium. this seems right as far as i can tell.
however, not much else seems to happen after the initial colonization. no sclerotia seem to form, and after 3 months or so half of the jars have got contaminated with what looks like wet rot bacteria i think. even the non contaminated ones arent really doing anything new.

so.how do i get the mycelium to produce my truffles? they grow easy enough on agar!

You need more gas exchange then one pin hole.

should i loosen the lids, or put more holes in? the hole is about 1.5 mm wide

i havent touched them for since i transferred the cloned truffles 3 months ago!

how long does it take for sclerotia to form? it just seems like theyre not doing much any more

They can take 6-9 mouths to produce. The next time you make a jar. Make a bigger hole, like a 1 1/2"

heres some pictures of the tampanensis jars i made. theyve started to form after about 2 months of mycelium growth, and the truffles have been forming for the last month or so. how long should i leave it before digging them out? can they go bad? when is the best time to harvest?

IME they stop growing after 5-6 months.
