Houston area-report-
    #7128969 -

I went on a hunt last Sunday and found a dozen or so large Cubes. No pic's because I dried them. I would like to find out why we are not seeing any wild Texas pictures or posts, they are out. OK her is a 1/2oz dried from the hunt

I normally post some, but I am out of town right now. Should be posting some in a couple of days when I get back from my next trip. I know that there are alot out there because of the huge amount of rain.

I found some today, mostly cubes, with a few copes. I had to wade thru ankle deep water throughout most of my field. TOOOO much water. Things need to dry out a bit. Worried that all this water may kill all the mycelium. My field was 80% full of water. My best areas, I could not get to because of all the water. Although the areas that were high and not under water, had no problem finding cubes, but they were waterlogged

found some copes yesterday in central texas. And yeah a few of my fields are flooded, we have gotten too much rain here in central texas. A lot of the cow shit has been washed away. Althought I did find some copes that had been bent over from a wash, then started growing back up again after it passed.

Well anyway here is a picture of some pristine copes i found yesterday, The ones on the left were growing straight out of a ant pile! I got bit the fuck up picking them. Unusual for me to see mushrooms growing out of an antpile, but the ants were not eating them.
