Peroxide water for regular plants...?
    #712506 - 06/30/02 03:14 AM (21 years, 5 months ago)

I accidentally used my shroom mix (peroxide10% and water from boiled wheat straw90%) water on my house plants this morning.
Just curious if anyone has done this before...?
Is it better for the plants, perhaps worse....?

I would imagine that the peroxide can't be too great for the plants, but if it's diluted that much plus the peroxide you put in was already diluted i assume? If it was bought at like a grocery store it's already diluted down to 3% and some times 5% so if you're putting in 10 parts of the 5 or 3% solution then 90 parts of the water, you've got a very weak peroxide count in it and I'll guess that it won't hurt the plants.

I use peroxided water when I start cacti from seed instead of a fungicide..Never had any negative effects that I know of.
