Well, yes, one would think but cutting trees down, especially oaks is like a HUGE deal here. And in Gainesville it's like a federal case if someone wants to tear down a tree. The fucking Univ Athletic Assoc of UF tore down all these huge trees lining the road.. kinda created a corridor effect shading the road.. so that they could make a level sidewalk and a view so people can see the practice football field. THen they planted a bunch of nicely lined baby trees so it looks fake as shit.

I feel like I'm gonna be one of those environmentalists that plants fake colonies of salamanders at construction sites so they have to abandon the building and blah.
