ID request - southwest pa.

Habitat: Soil in the woods.
Gills: White
Stem: Textured brown
Cap: Mostly off-white with brown ring around outside, sort of inverse shape
Spore print: See below
Bruising: None that I saw
Location: Southwest pa.

I don't know too much about mushrooms. I wanted to see what kinds (hopefully good kinds) grew around my house. I didn't do a spore print as I didn't want to pick it since it was a loner. I shook some spores onto my hand though, and they were white. So can anyone tell if it's edible, poisonous or special? And on a side-note, does anyone know about the mushrooms around southwest pa. What is the likelihood that I would find anything good? Any help is appreciated, naturally.

P.S. - Sorry about the one pic, it was the only one that came out okay.

not enough info on your mushroom.might be something of the bolete family.I wouldn't advise you eat any mushroom from the wild until you learn more.get a good guide or check out mushroomexpert.com.here are some foray species lists from your area. :igor:
