Re: Cap or Stem is Psychoactive?

They are both highly active. I have friends that just eat caps and swear they are more potent, but I have eaten just stems and fried my ass off. I would have to say they are both about the same potency wise.

The spores are the most potent.

Spores have no psilocybin/psilocin thunderfuck...
but the cap and stem are both hallucinogenic

this should be in the FAQ. it is all the same. if you have 5 grams of cap material in one bag and 5 grams of stem material in another bag you have the same precentage of magic in both bags.

sean, I'd have to disagree, if the cap has spores, which will account for some of the weight, and spores have NO psylobin or psilocin in them, the caps would have to be less potent....

the spores weight is so small, it really has no bearing on decreasing the potency:mass ratio. If spores WERE heavy enough to make a difference, then they wouldn't serve they're purpose, because spores are to be whisped away by slow air currents, to ride on the waves gases. Otherwise they'd drop right on top of the already established mycelium, and have no nutrients to colonize.
