if everyone from the northern hemisphere...

migrated to the southern hemisphere, would the tilt of the earth change at all?

which would you rather live in, spring and summer, or fall and winter,

im sure everyone enjoys spring and fall because they are blissful seasons, summer is fun as hell if you aren't carrying around too much blubber to overheat yourself, and winter is alright if you have the muscle mass,hair growth the withstand the frostbite.
in summer you can surf naked without losing your weener to cold, in winter you can snowboard, or make snowmen. what im saying here, is that this planet is alright. :thumbup: its the entities inhabiting it that suck it up, like you and me. well, not me, just you. :grin: peace

you're correct, unless we build underwater cities, i mean, why the fuck haven't we already? our city planning is shit, fucking rectangluar boxes straight into the sky. I want organic, life filled buildings. shite, jacque costeau built an underwater home 60 years ago? we've got laboratories underwater, and the japs have floating buildings, but we need some subterranean, not the tunnels the reptiles and governments control, but yeah, fuck goverments, fuck you if you support capitalism. im going to blow up your house.

well, answer the farking question,

would you rather transition from moderate climate to moderate climate or stay in one place year round?

nomadically, you would probably head south in the winter, and north in the summer in the norhtern hemisphere and vice versa in the southern, yet we stay to enjoy all 4 seasons. Is this your way, or do you tramp trains to LA?

of course we could fit, man. the largest city in the world has 13 million people in an area of just 440 square kilometers. if you do the math you'll find that you'd need like 230,000 square kilometers to fit everyone on the planet at that same population density.

I think that wikipedia shouldn't really be used as a source for information. Example; I was in mexico City over 3 years ago and my host family told me the population was over 25 million people. Your wiki article claims only 8. a second article from wikipedia here says 19.2 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexico_City), and yet another website says 18.7 with Tokyo at nearly 28 million (http://worldatlas.com/citypops.htm)

either way, claiming 13 mil as the largest in the world is wrong, but you've got a good point :smile:

when people say mexico city has 20 million people they are referring to the whole metropolitan area, which includes a lot more than mexico city. read those articles. i'm sure it's explained in one of them.

Any on-line "encyclopedia" that can be edited by ANYONE.......is not that reliable. There are FAR better sources of information than Wikipedia

Besides, what does this have to do with attempting to adjust the tilt of the earth?

Nothing can be done about that......thank God. The seasons are one of the primary reasons we had to evolve. If things stayed the same all the time there would be no challenge to get warm in the winter or cool in the summer.
