I'm literally freaking out the lower half of PA has a good chance of seeing them. My friend is going up to a mountain to try and get a view(they said around 8ish)

I do not think I will see them from here though :sad:. I've wanted to see the northern lights before I die, so if not tonight then one day. My friends are going to the place our friend committed suicide to view them....I wish I could be there but I can't get up there from here in time, I'm so sad about that..

I hate all you people who live in the north. Astronomy was like the one thing that actually interested me in school. I never get to see shit down here, when there's a phenomenon going on that isn't destroyed by light pollution, it's always far away.

I drove out to a park to try and see the aurora, but there was nothing happening. Saw some good meteors and that was cool, but no lights in the sky, except for the glow from dc.
