Call AAA? Or if you're impatient like me you could just punch the window open and fix it later.

Not sure, might be able to...they have a device to open up cars, for that type of situation.

Yepp, unless he wants to do damage to his car, he's going to have to fork up the dough or take the bus.

I locked my shit in my car during dinner of my high school prom. While everyone else ate, my awkward ass sat outside and waited for the locksmith. I didn't get any pussy that night needless to say.

Take a tennis ball and cut a small hole about the size of a key. Then place the ball over the lock and smash the ball. The air pressure might pop open the lock.

I've seen it done before, never tried it though.

That only works on cars with vacuum lock systems, which not very many have, it's worth a try though. If you know anybody with a lock picking set you could try that. I've picked the door lock on my car before.

Whatever you do, don't break a window. It will cost you far less to get that shit locksmithed.

it's been my experience that most law enforcement won't pop your lock on your car, give you a jump, etc, for liability reasons. I worked in an airport that had a sherrifs office in it, people would have problems with their cars all the time and the sherrifs would just tell them to call towing companies and the like.

If you know ANYONE who has AAA get them to come to the car and make the phonecall. AAA covers the driver not the car, i've used it on several occasions to help friends out. AAA is a lifesaver, totally worth the money you spend on it.

AAA is a political organization.  They lobby the government to make laws favoring motorists, whatever that means.

It probably doesn't mean more public transportation and less highways, though:mad:

Get a Coathanger damnit. I've opened plenty a doors after 30 minutes or less of fiddling with coathangers and the mechanics in the door.

Haha, my limo driver did the same thing at my prom. She held up our huge 50 person group for like an hour. Needless to say, she got a lot of shit from a bunch of rowdy, shitfaced teenagers.

He told me a few hours later that he had a spare set at home like a mile away. My only response was "why the fuck didn't you just walk home and get them instead? It would've taken a shorter amount of time and we still could have gotten to that party!"

People can be pretty irrational sometimes
