Coco coir from petsmart?

okay i went to petsmart today to find some coir and i found two products one is made by zooMed:
Eco Earth

and another (i saw it listed in a previous post) Bed a beast litter

which, if not both of these, is suitable for a casing layer?

How much did they cost? I guarnatee I can give you a better deal, pay the shipping, and give you a more quality coco coir.

They have to be the same. I use the bed-a-beast shit. Works charms. One suggestion tho. If your only going to do one/couple casings..DONT put the whole brick in there. You will have a SHITLOAD of coir leftover and wet. Just chip a few chunks off the block. It's kinda insane how it expands to 7x its size..and they mean it! One brick is enough for like a 40gallon aquarium..to give you an idea.

thanks for all the replies... the only difference in the two is that one says its made with 100% coconut husk (bed-a-beast) and the other says coconut fiber... (i am assuming that its really they same thing)

i am going to go with the bed-a-beast, mainly b/c Goolag had good results with it; its non-toxic, if its safe enough for reptiles to eat it, it should be alright to case with (no additives...) it also looks finer than the Eco Earth coir, and it will prolly be easier for the mycelium to spread through and for the pins to beark the surface.

dude your wasting your money,, cocunut fiber, means they probraly just shredded the fibers real thin, instead of leaving them thick, I would shred the fibers completely, in a herb shredder, or something else that could work, to make it like peat moss
