Heres what I think you can do to help your 'friend'.

-Raise the temp inside the terrarium to 74-78F.
-Make sure the humidity is around 95-100%
-ALLOW GAS EXCHANGE AT LEAST TWICE A DAY!
-Make sure its getting sufficiant light.

ok I will let him know. :smile: Also, he is using a double bulbed floursecent lamp about a foot over the setup. This should provide appropriate lighting. Also, would this small temperature raise help that much, and is a double fishtank bubbler not enough gas exchange for ~14 gallons of area? Thanks.

I don't know that much about bubblers... maybe someone else can help ya with that.. but I think they do provide some gas exchange.. but maybe its not enough. The only true way to find out if the light is raising the temp enough (which i doubt) is to stick a thermometer in the terrarium. I recommend those paper thing aquarium ones at your local pet shop.
