No idea, but that must be some extreme child pornography.

It's quite simple.

Each individual act of breaking the law is considered.

So if you kill 100 people, and the first 5 equal to more than you're ever going to live, they just can't ignore the other 95.

It doesn't make any sense, but A LOT of things about the legal system don't(and there are FAR more important thing to focus on than this...)

it just makes it alot harder to get out.

for example someone has a 40 year prison sentance but only serves 30.

that type of thing happens all the time. it takes alot more than child pornography to get a life sentance.

so thats just one way to keep ppl locked up untill they begin to decay.

thats my understanding of it, correct me if im wrong.

Wow, you just explained it to me :yesnod:

But, why would they appeal it to an equally unrealistic number of years?

To me it's logical.

It's simply a matter that there is a standard rule that all sentences are to be added up, and if there will be an unrealistic number then so be it. It looks odd, but since numbers are juggled with at later dates it matters whether someone got one life sentence or ten consecutive ones.

hehe, yeah I had to read that. It's really fascinating that child porn has such a high demand. It said over 250,000 customers!

I guess the money is at these risky businesses. selling coke, crack, heroin, and child porn. The govt could make some mad tax money if they legalized it!! things would just be weird then. Idk what I'd think if my friend was like, "HEY CHECK THIS OUT!" and there's Peter North pounding a 16yr old. I might laugh really hard and then I might start feeling bad for the girl getting pounded. Then I'd notice the tear going down the girl's cheak and that there's blood coming from her snatch.. Then I'd really question where the hell has the world gone.

Apparantly nude photos of children are ok if they're labeled art.

They make it an insanely high number to insure that they never get out. So if you have an 80 year sentence, appeal it, then get a reduced sentence for good behaviour, you might get out eventually. The same is not true, however, of a 1000 year sentence.

:what:

is the sentance to be run consecutively or concurrently. if each picture warranted
a 10 year sentance totaling more than 1000 years, run concurrently he'd never be
released, run concurrent, he'd be out in 10 (5 for state prison with another 5 on parole)
