Damn bro you have too much time on your hands. . I just thought I'd let you know there's a typo, Psilocybe cyanescens Hawaiian/Floridian $25 Spore Works. These don't grow in those places. Nice Work Though!

Wow, that is pretty neat. Puts my prices in perspective . DethHed is right though, it is Panaeolus cyanescens not Psilocybe. If you can, order a Pacifica Exotia Spora catalog and include their prices (It will make everyone else on the list look even better, hehe)

Thats quite the comprehensive list, good job! What are the question marks about?
I think the Aussie cub from Ryche and Mt. Elphie are the same as the Tasmanian and Mt. Elphie's Hawiaain is the PES/GT.
Also, prices don't reflect various additional postage charges, etc but then, that would really complicate things!
Good stuff!

Yes, I do have too much time on my hands...and thanks everyone...and your welcome...hehe

Workman, the species is right...just where their page said it grows, maybe they just got it from that place I don't know. If you look at the hawk's eye spore page you'll see that there's two different cyanescens species, one is Panaeolus cyanescens and the other is Psilocybe cyanescens.

Also, the entire thing was set up like a table but the tabs didn't come out so everything is bunched up. The first part is species, then the strain, then the price, and finally the source. I only did this because I wanted to get some things straight plus if I had just looked at every spore place I wouldn't have remembered what strains could be had from what company and which had the cheapest price, etc.

This a common confusion because of the similarity of the names. The first name is the genus, the second part is the species. The fact that both of them have the same species name is meaningless since they are in different genera. The species name in this case is merely descriptive regarding the cyan or blue staining of the mushrooms flesh. So really what you have is a cyan staining Psilocybe and a cyan staining Panaeolus. Completely different genera and completely different types of mushroom.

Panaeolus cyanescens:
Subtropical to tropical dung lover
Small, thin fleshed, grey to yellowish brown
Relatively easy to grow
Extremely potent

Psilocybe cyanescens:
Temperate wood lover
Medium size caramel colored caps
Difficult to grow
Very potent

I just wanted to add a couple of updates, if anyone else has anything to add to this please feel free to do so.

Really, all I have to add is:

Spore Syringes

Species Strain Price Source

Psilocybe cubensis Thailand $13 The Hawk's Eye

Also, I wanted to point out that alot of the spores listed above have gone out of stock since this post was made.

Laters,

PsiliPharm

Anybody know how to easily cut and past from acrobat reader? I've got the Spores and Magic catalog in pdf format, and don't want to type up the info. They offer lots of neat stuff, like the Penis Envy strain.

Workman,

Are Psilocybe cyanescens grown the same way Psilocybe azurescens are grown?

Also, how are Panaeolus Cyanescens grown?

Feel free to disregard this if the info is on your page, that's my next stop.

Yes, that is very nice work compiling the info...needs a lot of updating tho.
Sporechicks' panaeolus cyanascens syringes are available; our other prints are $25; we have several added strains since this initial report; and we also have a new address since that time.
It's also a tiny bit misleading in that some people charge extra for shipping and some don't.
Still, it is a valuable resource.

I just want to mention that the Spore Lab has a new address than the one above..see sig.

Also, although we sell syringes at $12 apiece, we also give 3 for $25, your pick of strains.

mycofile: Click on the Text Tool on the left border of the Acrobat Reader screen, then you can copy the text from the .pdf document and paste it in every windows application.

You missed psychonaut's price of $10 a print for several different strains and I sell psilocybe cubensis B+ and gulf coast for $12 a syringe. I will be adding others very soon for the same price. That price includes free postage.
