moes outdoor tek

with moes outdoor grow tek can you use straw instead of hay? and can you use scotts 3 n 1 instead of manure and also can you do it in a pot?

would mushroom compost work? I only saw that and organic compost made with cow manure. Would either of these give results? How long do moes patches work?

i wouldnt recommend using anything with any type of fertilizer in it such as that scotts stuff or miracle-gro (all same company)... i would use hay and horse dung... then case it with verm and peat moss. which you can find at a local nursery for the peat and verm.... and yes you could do it in a pot if you want. i made a huge flower box that i used and it works and has been working great.
