Im not looking for texts about how to live my life, Im looking for philisophical and/or spiritual writings on this subject.

I heartily recommend the former as well!  And I haven't read Tolle's The Power of Now, but its successor A New Earth was really helpful for me in laying out a groundwork of basic practices for remaining present and aware. :flowerchild:
