Yup...I've never been a big fan of hygrometers but I think the digital "weather-proof" ones from radio shack are a great choice if you want to get a good one. If at all possible look for one that can stay outside your terrarium and have a wire go inside the terrarrium....this way the circuit board wont get all messed up from high level of humidity...well...this shouldn't heppen with the weather-proof ones...but....*cough cough*

the one from radio hack with a out door cord with it those work good if it doesn't swim in the perlite/water the outside cord doesn't read the humdity though ... atleast the one i got ... it read the temp for the cord and it read the temp and humdity for the inside were the bass is ... My's is now fucked up cause off the bath in perlite but it still reads the humdity ...

No...hes talking about the cheapo gauges with the wound spring in the back....they suck ass
The only gauges that work are analog with a calibration screw and digital ones.

Calibration is usually necessary with analog hygrometers...

Johnson Controls *anything* is the shizznit in my book. I use their thermometer control for my homebrew fridge. I'd buy JC with confidence, no problem.
