I think your fine Johny. You acted fast, cut it out and sprayed with h2o2. Make sure to air out your set up, trichoderma loves stagnant air with co2 buildup.

JoHnNySc, I think the pins will make it, but you should consider this your last flush. I have never seen a subsequent flush after a casing was infected regardless of how fast I cut the mold patch out. After the flush, it will return, but this time it will win the battle.

ShroomGod is right. it can be hurt, but i swear in casing that stuff is immortal. Does anybody know, is the green mold trichoderma? i always thought it is, but reading TMC seems to indicate that trichoderma infects chiefly the fruit body (?). this is contrary to the picture of trichoderma in the book, which shows it infecting the casing layer. i have seen the "forest green mold" infect live mushroom tissue only once, when the conditions i created almost begged for an infection. i have seen it a lot more often on casing. so is it trichoderma?
