Grey/green mold on casing - PIC
    #677418 - 06/13/02 08:49 PM (22 years, 10 months ago)

This trichoderma (or whatever this shit is) made me really upset. It popped up on my first casing after i harvested the first flush.
It happended probably because of excessive humidity - after harvesting I sprayed the surface with tap water

Yesterday I removed the top layer covered with mold, sprayed again the surface with water/peroxide and moved the jar back to dark place. Hope mycelium will manage to overcame this contam.

And a close-up

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but through that shit out.

There is NO WAY you are going to save that sucker. That is just to overrun with the greenies.

Green mold is hard enough to get rid of when you only have a tiny patch the size of a dime. This is practically covering your entire casing.

All you are going to succeed in doing is growing more green mold and releasing more green mold spores into your grow area.

Dump it ASAP. I wouldn't even mess around with it for an experiment.
