I have a 1/2 pint jar that is about 38 days old, it is just over 50% colonization and i noticed a couple small spots of Trichoderma harzianum (green mold) on the uncolonized part of the jar, directly under the stamped holes and dry verm layer. Is there anyway i can save this jar, and is it possible for the mycelium to overpower the mold?
it is doubtfull that happened to quit a few of my jars :[ so i decided to open em up take out the mycelium that WAS colonized brushed off the loose verm and plopped it in my fruiting chamber i have a couple chunks in there been there for a few days.. im startying to see soem niec growth no pins yet, ill let ya know hwo ti work sout heheh.
