Disagreeing with me and stereotyping

I have noticed that those who are not like me like to attribute negative stereotypes those who are like me. What neurological or psychological disorder can we attribute this to?

It's an inherent aspect of humanity, unfortunately. People tend to create negative categories in their mind as a sort of mental defense mechanism, so that anyone who challenges their views can be lumped into a single category and thereafter either ignored, burned, imprisoned, or dealt with in some other way. It's an easy trap to fall into, and in many situations both sides are simply disregarding the opposing view to their own by putting derogatory labels on it.

Why?
Because since the first day we're born we're being taught to think and judge people in racial and cultural stereotypes and that everything has to be either good or bad. And because the education we get usually imprints in our minds the fact that there's a universal truth and then fundamentalism is the next step.
If we had no preset idea of what was going to happen, that we wouldn't be surprised over and over again when something "good" or "bad" happened and we'd accept those things as a fact that can actually teach us something instead of fitting them into a pre-existent category.
So when people see something or somebody different from them, they get confused and choose to label it as being bad so they can defend who they are :shrug:

Could you be any more vague? Those with three eyes and a red mohawk? Those who do not match your every characteristic and outlook on life?

Having trouble seeing clearly from up on your high horse? Very well, then. If you condescend a little more down to my level, I'll explain. This thread a satire of a trend I've seen in some recent threads, where a certain individual has been stereotyping people who don't think like him, labelling their beliefs as "far-out"(not in the sense of 60's slang) and disparaging their grammar and level of education, among other things.
