soaking cakes in orange juice

I read somewhere that if you soak a fully colonized cake in orange juice and then strain it, you can trip off the orange juice. Is this possible to do with cakes from brown rice flour and vermiculite??

Read something about blending a few cakes in OJ or cranberry juice, straining the juice so that you dont get the vermeculite in your system, and then using that strained juice to trip.

Heard its worked, never actually done it however.

no these cakes are just fully colonized but I have no room for them in my grow chamber.
