I might be packing my shit and moving out to Myrtle Beach

My wife has been in training for a little over a year now to be the manager of her own Domino's Pizza. They just offered her a store in Utah and Myrtle Beach, SC.
Not only is the one in Utah right in the middle of "mormonville", but it's on a ski resort. Yeah, it sounds fun but from a money standpoint it sucks. You pull in a ton of money for a few months out of the year but the rest is very dead.
I've heard good things about the Myrtle Beach store. Fuck, it's on a beach!

We plan on moving sometime around the first of the year.

Have you guys been to Myrtle Beach? If so, what did you think?:sun:

I've been a couple of times. Myrtle Beach is an EXTREMELY commercialized area. I've never stayed there, only gone for the day while staying at another beach. It's the kind of place where you can smell fried food the whole time as you walk down the street. No doubt a dominos would do good there, but it's definitely not the kind of place I would want to live. There are, however, some very nice beaches only an hour or two away.

If you're talking about the ski resort that I think you are, then you should know that it's supposed to be a reeaaaally nice resort, just keep that in mind.

Yeah, especially if you have to deliver pizzas at Myrtle Beach.

Imagine all the monkey-shine going on down there with college kids and shit bums fucking with the delivery help.

Utah seems to be the best plan going.

lived there for a short season...

a few things that stick out are biker week and black biker week.

also, pissing off people whilst on the road is not a good idea, as it seems every single driver young and old drives with a hand gun in the car.
I lived right next to the Meher Baba spiritual center though... amazing.
