1st flush questions (updated new pics)

Hey Guys,

I have a question in regards to dunking after the 1st flush. I have attached a picture below of my cakes. Basically I would like to know what shrooms I should pick vs leave on the cake. I have many small pins and some that will need to be picked soon.

None of those are ready yet, IMO, but you can pick whenever you like. Most prefer to pick just after the veil tears away from the cap, and that hasn't happened on any of the shrooms that I can see in the pic.

Wait another dayor three and remove all pins before dunking. If they are not mature yet, wait longer.

I agree they aren't done I was just going by the appearance of the cakes that some will be ready before others. The ones that aren't ready get picked regardless?

I have noticed the veil starting to tear on this one guy.



What does everyone else do? Which of these 3 options should I use?

  • Pick all now and dunk
  • Pick each one as it becomes ready
  • Leave them till more veils tear

dude, u can let those pins stay, but you can also let those mature a bit, when u dunk, dont pull all the pins off. all of those could stand another day.
