Dunking?

Do I dunk before or after pins have formed? Dunking is something completely new to me, and I am eager to try.

Dunk between flushes... after harvest.... you can even dunk before 1st flush... but don`t dunk when pins are showing. Dunking re-hydrates the cake and produces more and bigger shrooms on the average. Good luck !

before is best.
but you can safely dunk with small pins present, just handle them gently as they are quite fragile.

I dunked because the top of the cake was dry. There were 2 aborts on the cake and about 10 pins. The mycellia had grown off my pf cake and grew a seperate cake in the peralite and the 2nd cake is whats pinning.
