temp-humidity gauge

i was at wal mart today looking in the auto dept, and i saw this temperature/humidityclock gauge. it is black, with three circles, one circle for each temp/humidity/time. both the temp and the humidity gauge read high and low enough to cultivate shrooms. the clock also would be great so i could record times in a log, and i always know the date, so this would be the perfect tool for the job. has anyone else heard or seen this product? can you give me some info about it?

They do not work!!! Do not waste your money!!
You need an analog hygrometer with a calibration screw or a digital one. Can be bought at cigar shops. Digi's can be had at Radio Shack.
I think they have them here if you cant find a cigar shop near you:

I just picked up a digital temp/hygrometer from Radio Hack for about $25 and it works pretty damn good. -Bruiser

i think i may of losted my temp-humidity gauge from radio hack for 30 bucks cause the temp-humidity gauge decided it was to hott in the tanks and take a swim into the perlite ... by the time i got to notice it the temp was 120 ... ... maybe it will work again after being dryed out ... The one i got from radio hack seems to be doing ok , plus a a extra feature is it has a wire that can be rain into the incubator

Stay away from the cheap crap. If you don't mind spending a few dollars more for quality, Oregon Scientific makes a nice cordless remote that will read from 4 sources (with three remote units @$25 each) The main unit costs about $60. and gives you a built-in clock w/date fo easy logging. If you have multiple terrariums, this is the cream!

Yes radio shack has some nice ones. The one i want has two sensors with leads running to the guage to take readings inside the house and outside so you'll never have to put the guage inside the terrarium. It shows temp., humidity and gives you highs and lows so you can make adjustments if need be. Pricey though at 39dollars plus change but you can use it for two terrariums thats a bonus for me.
