A non digital humidity gauge
    #919898 - 09/30/02 06:29 PM (14 years, 3 months ago)

Ok, here's my dilemma. My friend has been using the accurite digital humidity gauges. The problem w. these is that it is so humid inside his terrarium, these things get fucked in about 3 weeks. I don't think the manufacturers intended for these to be used in 95% plus humidity. Does anyone know of a mechanical gauge or anything that could be acquired at walmart, target, etc. that my friend could use that will last a little longer?? He would really appreciate it, so would I. Thanks everyone!!!

Go to a cigar store and buy  one of those brass humidity gauges for cigar humidors... They are only around 6-10 bucks and work like a champ. There is a way to calibrate with salt in the search section i beleive. Anno knows how I`ll bet
