So i just made up 12 1/2 pint jars of BRF/VERM and didnt use the top dry layer of verm, instead I just sealed in filter discs above it...I then sterilized the jars aftre the discs were inplace and then innoculated THROUGH the disks... are my jars in trouble?

It will prolly be ok but its much better and easier to just put the dry verm layer on. Thats what the tek calls for and thats what works best. So why not just do that? Its cheaper too.

I didnt use te Verm seal or the Ramsey seal because as shitty as it is to admit I had these filter disks I bought and wanted to use them. As they had been sitting arond forever. I thought if I put in the verm and then the filter disck on top of that it would not let the fd's do their job or something. Im quite new to this so that seemed reasonable to me. It's not worth it to open them up now and put the verm in is it? As it would introduce airborne contams right? I kept the metal caps on and have the FD's in plac so i guess that's 2 layers of protection...

Never open a jar after sterilization unless it is 100% colonized.
IMO, if you have a 3/4" dry verm layer and follow normal sterile technique, this is sufficient.

Everything should be fine. Our researchers use Contamination Guards to cover their jars without a verm layer (when working with cakes) and they have not had one contamination problem. But every one can not expect to have the same results in this hobby. I would recommend using a verm layer on some of your jars, and the others without a verm layer.
If you do this, let us know what the results are.
