Sent an email and received a reply (again, after threatening a refund through my bank).

Word to the wise, email support and tell them you;re cancelling, it was the only way i could get a response.

I also included in my email that mike needs to get his ass over here to do some 'splaining.

i don't know if they are catching up with everyone but i ordered my stuff mid-march and received it last week...not ideal but the stuff looks really nice and i can't wait to use it...i completely botched my attempts to generate spawn anyway while i was waiting for the order so in reality it didn't matter that much lol...

I sent my cancellation to them early last week.

Last night (Saturday) I got an email at 10:30PM telling me that they got my cancellation but sent the order anyway--sent tracking number and everything... do they still expect me to pay?



I replied telling them that I had already ordered and received some excellent poo from another vendor (Mycopath, you ROCK!) and that they weren't going to screw me into paying for a 5-week-old product by forcing the order on me and acting like it was some kind of mistake.

Flat-out dishonesty. Mistake my ass. These people are stunning in their arrogance.

BEWARE

Now I have to go to the trouble of returning this box to the post office as refused, and wait even longer to get my money back.

Unless they argue-- then things will get worse for them.

It took a long time to get here when i've ordered from him, but it did come... Unfortunately i probably will not use him again because of the wait times, BUT HIS SHIT REALLY IS GOOD, i don't have pics left form my last grow with tennstud, but....

these 12 qt. trays are rye grain spawned to tenn stud last tuesday... the bag of tennstud has sat in a closet since september (over 7 months)... i'm excited for my results...

i must say though, maybe mike should've hired more than some chick to answer emails (obviously she is no good at it). Maybe he should've hired some actual people willing to help him with the labor instead... ITS A SHAME.

Last time I ordered from them, thats what I had to do. I couldnt get a response to anything until I filed a paypal claim and demanded a refund...interestingly enough I got a reply the next day saying they would see what they could do about canceling my order...followed a couple minutes later with by a shipping notice.

I e-mailed them the other day... I think monday about what the turn around time for 100 lbs of dry would be, just a few min ago got an e-mail saying that an order like that be over 4 weeks and they are running behind.

I got my own scource of poo and just e-mailed to see what I could gather.

do you know how long it takes shit to compost like 4-6 months so if they have lots of big orders it may take time...i can see that most of you are city folk and don't understand the time it takes shit to become compost.

yes but why lie and say it will be a week or what ever it said on his site when it is going to be late??

also it has been like this for a very long time so why not as agar said stock up????

there is also other methods to speed up the process or ageing and leaching.

I say Mike got to big for his britches, and wasn't making enough profits to pay some mexican to shovel shit for him, and just got severly behind/
Plus it's april now, and even though they have been behind for months, weather does play a factor.

He should have put a notice on his website to inform people either of the extended wait time, or to suspend orders, untill they can be promptly filled.

I can understand pre-pasteurized orders taking a while to get out, that is a lot more labor intensive than shredding some dry poo and weighing it out in a trashbag, throwing it in a box and shipping it off.

He didn't do any kind of notifications, he just vanished, other than some orders being shipped, so he's obviously not in jail, so no excuse there.
Maybe he just got to big, to quick, got depressed his shit fucked up and got behind, and threw the towl in?

Who knows, nothing but speculations.....He needs to get his ass over here and do some _serious_ explaining.

no, agar was preparing to market myconitro but nixed it in the end.

I've been in constant contact with alicia, she has informed me lots of orders have shipped out on fri (so some of you members might be in that lot), and that she is trying to push my order through. I pleaded with her to have mike make an appearance, hopefully she'll pass the message along and we'll hear from luna and get this situation sorted.

No flaming of tenn stud in my thread, period, i don't care how dissatisfied you are keep it to your self. Mike has not shut down and ran off with anyone money, it just seems he got hit with too many orders and not enough labor/time to get them done in the two week time period. Mike sells good product and has been very reliable in the past. While he is not personally answering PM's right now, Alicia is doing a good job of providing support (as far as i can tell, i sometimes receive up to two emails per day from her).

So to everyone with orders outstanding, if you have questions use the support email provided on tenn studs website. If alicia got back to me, she'll get back to you as well.
