Need help with identifying two caps
    #6891601 -

hi everybody, i need help identifying two different caps that i found in the Sydney metropolitan area recently. i have tried to get a positive ID from other sources, but i couldn't really find any definite ways of determining what i had, so i thought this would be the place.
the first cap i found was growing under a canopy of eucalyptus trees, on damp wood chips, when touched it rubs off on your hands, like a thick foam, it has a white/beige spore print and stands about 4 cm tall.

the second cap i found was growing at the foot of a concrete wall in loose damp soil. its stipe was about 3 cm long, and upon bruising no bluing occurred. the spore print was a purple-red colour.
the cap is about 4cm in diameter.

thank you for all your help.

Not sure but i found similar white ones like those growing in a landscaped bed in suburban Sydney, i put them down as Chlorophyllum hortense, they're poisonous to some extent i think  :puke:

nah i didnt eat any, im still alive  i took a piece off and bruised it, didnt bruise blue, more of a strange magenta/maroon colour. And the cap on the second one is wavey like a copelandia cyanescens when it ages.
and undergrounder, was the habitat it grew in similar? (btw i havent even considered eating a non-identified mushy, life is more important)

The first could be a Chlorophyllum, and the second looks a lot like an Agaricus. Some of the good edible Agaricus species stain red when bruised.

Would be strange (but not impossible) to see Chlorophyllum on woodchips I think. But I agree that number 1 is some type of Lepiota. 2 appears to be an agaricus, I agree with Alan on that. The reddish color of the spore print seems to be the chocolate brown spore color but it's wet from being on a paper towel and appears reddish. I make no claims about the edibility of that mushroom.

So nothing active. Interesting finds though.
