yeah, i finally found a picture of it

check it out, and tell me any cool ideas on what i could do with it.

im thinking fillin it with water, and makin' a swimmin hole

its actually sunk right down into solid rock

on some property i need to sell, but i cant sell it with an open pit in it, and instead of just filling it in, i would like to do somthing creative with it.

you could add a tiki bar on the side of it, and tiki torches. that'd almost certainly double the value.

and the coolness factor, if you do a good job.

oh, well no offense, but i don't think a pit of stagnant water will up the value much either.

perhaps you could build the bunker, then sell it to someone who wants an underground bunker.. in which case, it would up the value to that person.

Man, just say" look, they only mined like 5 feet down, the rule is you have to dig atleast 6 to get to the good shit. Who the hell knows how much money you can get from mining this site. I just don't have the time these days."
Hell, throw in a shovel and ask for a few million. Maybe they'll counter offer you more than you expect in the first place.

yeah, that could work.

Im going to hate all of the building permitting issues i would have to go through, Grrr....

i think that swimmin hole would be nice, but it would require me to get a pool filter at the least...

I think any pool filter they make would die in 10 seconds if it tried to filter water from that thing.

Isn't that pit in the middle of the NV desert?  Where are you getting water?

i would have probably truck it in.

i would have to sand the bottom and then line it with heavy duty plastic.

how deep is it? Its hard to tell but it only looks like 3 or 4 feet deep.

no its atleast 20 feet deep
100 feet+ across and 500 feet long,

i could actually drive down to the bottom of it
