apparently chickens have been feed PET FOOD TAINTED....but they never say what it was tainted with.

farther more wtf are these crystals they talk about in the kidneys

"We had one case recently where the cat's kidneys were completely obstructed and when we went to surgery to relieve the obstruction there was no normal stone, instead the ureters were completely full of these melamine-type crystals," said Dr. Louise Murray, director of medicine at New York's Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital.

this sounds really fucked up, apparently MILLIONS have basically eaten this poisoned food by eating chickens.

I am starting to feel as if this has all been done on purpose...for what reason i dunno, but it seems really odd how so much food could be tainted and now they are quarantining vegy food from china or w/e.

The pet food is tainted with melamine, which from what I gather was put in the pet food to try to make it look like the protein count was higher in the food than it actually was.

The chance of humans getting sick from it is very, very low.

well now that i know that the food industry thinks poisened food is safe and wholesome.......i don't think i will sleep well at night

Melamine is poisonous to cats and dogs because they are small and ate the pet food directly. The pet food was mixed in to the chicken food, and the chickens ate it, and we ate the chickens. We are not being poisoned. The pet food poisoning killed cats mostly, and very small dogs, because of how little they weigh. I really doubt very much that it is any danger to humans. I'm not saying it's not awful, this whole situation...it's terrible that all these animals were sickened and killed...but I don't think people are going to get sick.

Same with pesticides......until they hit a certain age. It's not so black-and-white--stuff lodges in your body and affects you later in life. I dunno about this stuff, but I'm just saying...

but thats the beauty of it all, we will never know because things take more time to affect us....

but yah i only eat organic chicken....but in the back of my mind i always wonder how truthful they are about all that, words get twisted ect.

maybe they feed there chickens "organic petfood" yah know?
